The Great Donghai Corporation in China’s Fujian Province now has three advanced blast oxygen furnaces running successfully at its Meltshop 2.

BOF 3 is now operational, joining furnaces 1 and 2 which have been running smoothly since 2022.

CISDI Equipment Co supplied all three furnaces. They are an important support for the plant’s melting capacity and equipment enhancement.

BOF 3’s tilting device features CISDI’s suspended, flexible structures, which greatly improve stability and safety during operation. In addition, changing spare parts is easier and there is improved accessibility when maintenance is required.  

CISDI Equipment’s outstanding equipment design and manufacturing quality have gone into the creation of bespoke BOFs for multiple Chinese plants, including Yunnan Xianfu Steel and Hebei Jingye Group.
