CISDI Information Technology Co has become a pacesetter for intelligent manufacturing in China’s ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgical industry.

Its intelligent solutions for three projects - Pangang Xichang Steel Vanadium, Tianjin ROCKCHECK and Hongsheng copper smelting plant - have gained prestigious places on a list of intelligent manufacturing demos and outstanding applied scenarios released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and four other Chinese government agencies. 

Smart ironmaking centralised control centre at Pangang’s Xichang Steel Vanadium plant, Sichuan

China’s first smart control centre for vanadium-titanium magnetite ironmaking has integrated 43 original pulpits, achieving borderless communication, strengthening procedure collaboration, integrating operation and smart decision-making. 

A system of V-Ti magnetite smelting law has been created.

These results mark an accelerated development of smart ironmaking and lay a solid foundation for the plant to leapfrog into further advancements. 

Smart Factory at ROCKCHECK, Tianjin 

ROCKCHECK has been transitioned to a Smart Factory, with a smart centre for integrated control and intensive operation of ironmaking-wide procedures and all logistics. 

The Factory’s production costs have been reduced and its efficiency and staff safety has been enhanced. 

Real-time, full-process monitoring and control has been enabled for transport and delivery of raw materials and fuels, hot metal and final products. 

Digital copper smelting plant at Hongsheng Copper Corporation for China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group (Daye), Hubei 

China’s first total solutions for digital copper smelting with lean production management features a unified digital platform and multiple smart applications. 

Integrated operational and management controls are enabled across the entire smelting process. 

Thanks to innovative management and organisation, re-engineered flow and information sharing on the platform, Hongsheng has fulfilled flat management, massive centralised control, borderless collaboration and big data-based decision-making. 

These results have become new digital drivers to stabler, super-efficient production.
