CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering has been tasked with building a continuous galvanising line at Rongtai Metalwork Co in China’s Guangxi Province.
The CGL1 is projected to produce 400,000 million tonnes a year, supporting Fangchenggang City-based Rongtai’s 1.50Mtpy quality cold rolling programme.
CISDI Thermal’s proprietary galvanising tech and equipment have been proposed, which will facilitate the production of household appliances, automobile interior plates and structures.
CGL’s inlet section will be installed with a semi-automatic narrow-lap welder, which will reduce welding cycle time and enhance weld quality.
Proposed process section features:
• combined horizontal open firing and vertical radiant tube indirect heating tech
• patented dual-cross limiting control
• impulse heating
• annealing process model based control
• multi-stage excess heat recovery.
These solutions will bring heat treatment under high-precision, model control and reduce the line’s energy consumption.
The line’s post-plating cooling section will function with CISDI’s patented segmented coolers, which intensify the stable production of high-quality galvanised plates.
